Canadian-born wine makers Pascal and Moray are revolutionizing the way grapes are grown, the way wine is made and the way business is conducted in Burgundy. Since 2006, they have been building up their own holdings of village (premiers crus & grands crus), as well as carefully sourcing their grapes from trusted growers. Free of convention, they embrace tradition and innovation and are strong proponents of organic farming. Fresh, aromatic, structured, satiny-textured and true to their terroir, their cuvees have garnered praise from both critics and loyal fans alike. 

Stop at the Château of Clos de Vougeot

Founded in 1098 by monks of the abbey of Cîteaux, the vineyard of Clos de Vougeot Grand cru covers more than 50 hectares. Today, it is owned by more than 80 owners. This Grand cru is one of the most prestigious wine from Burgundy. The castle welcomes now the "chapitres" (dinners) of the emblematic Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin (the Brotherhood of the Knights of Tastevin).

In order to help harmonize your wines with a meal, and to furnish your cellar, Pierre Bourée Fils, owner and wine merchant and producer in Gevrey-Chambertin, is at your service.

This tasting table allows you to discover many different wines and vintages whilst sitting at a generous table with a simple local menu. Each wine will be carefully described by our sommelier, from the vineyard to your glass, and you will be able to exchange comments and impressions with your neighbours around the table.

Tour and wine tasting at a local domain in Vosne Romanée area.

The domain was founded in 1880 by the ex-sharecropper of the Château de la Berchère who had acquired the Château's wines. His son substantially enlarged the Domaine. In 1952, the domain was divided between the 2 sons. The oldest, enlarged the Domaine and stayed in Vosne Romanéee. The youngest helps his father since 1973 and now manages the domain with his wife and his daughter.

Drop off is at 05:30PM back to your hotel or to the train station.
