Stroll through the storied streets of Reims: many sites, monuments and museums evidence the layers of history here, from the Gallo-Roman to modern times, including the fabulous Art Deco period.


Day 2: Exclusive private day in Champagne... Veuve Clicquot and a local domain


Pick-up is at your hotel at 9:30 AM.

Veuve Clicquot: Tour and Champagne tasting

Founded in 1772 by Philippe Clicquot-Muiron, the house played an important role in establishing champagne as a favored drink of Bourgeoisie and Nobility throughout Europe. After the death of her Husband in 1805, Barbe Nicole Ponsardin known as the widow (veuve in French) Clicquot became the first woman to take over a Champagne house.  Her lagacy continues helping women entrepreneurs to this day.

This family has been growing grapes for centuries in Ambonnay in an authentic and warm atmosphere. In the cellar built in 1609 you'll discover a selection of Grand Cru Champagne- the fruit of centuries of family experience.

Day 3: Exclusive private day in Champagne...Moët & Chandon and a local domain


Pick-up is at 9:30 AM at your hotel.

Moët & Chandon: tour and Champagne tasting

Founded in 1743 by Claude Moët, within forty years it became the first international brand in the world. Its history is linked with famous figures as The Marquise de Pompadour and Napoleon the 1st, as well as many historical events such as King Edward the 7th’s coronation, the Cannes Film Festival, the Golden Globes, the 120th Anniversary of the Statue of Liberty, and more!

Here you will be inside the largest champagne cellar in existence. The House will open its secrets to you and as the Tour ends you'll be invited to taste a glass of Moët's Impérial and a glass of Moët Impérial Rosé in a refined Tasting Room.

Tour and Champagne tasting at a local domain

After a generation of winemakers, the 12 hectare wine-growing establishment is composed of 35% Chardonnay, 15% Pinot Noir and 50 % Meunier, spread in the Marne Valley. Attentive to the choices of the plans until the grape harvest and respectful of the ground, they proceed to a malolactic fermentation for more flexible wines. Finally, the bottles base in traditional cellar at least 3 years on dregs for the first Cuvée.

Route des Grands Crus

We'll do some sightseeing on the Grands Crus road and a stop at the famous Romanée-Conti. Considered the most prestigious name in Burgundy, this plot of 1.8 hectares (4.5 acres) produces the most expensive wine in the world!
Then a picturesque drive along the Côte de Nuits through the villages of Nuits-Saint-Georges, Vosne-Romanée and Vougeot. Discover why it's called the “Champs-Elysées” of Burgundy. We'll take advantage of being in these prestigious vineyards as the best way to explain the Terroir and the various steps required throughout the year to harvest the best Pinot Noir possible. Château du Clos de Vougeot: guided tour

Founded in 1098 by the monks of the abbey of Cîteaux, the vineyard of the Clos de Vougeot currently occupies more than 50 hectares (124 acres) with 80 different owners. Its wine is some of the most famous Grands crus of Burgundy. Today, the castle welcomes the different “chapitres” (dinners) of the Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin (the Brotherhood of the Knights of Tastevin).

Canadian-born wine makers Pascal and Moray are revolutionizing the way grapes are grown, the way wine is made and the way business is conducted in Burgundy. Since 2006, they have been building up their own holdings of village (premiers crus & grands crus), as well as carefully sourcing their grapes from trusted growers.

The domaine was founded in 1880 by the ex-sharecropper of the Château de la Berchère who had acquired the Château's wines. His son substantially enlarged the Domaine. In 1952, the Domaine was divided between the two sons. The oldest, enlarged the Domaine and stayed in Vosne Romanéee. The youngest has been helping his father since 1973 and now manages the Domane with his wife and thier daughter.
